Security Risk Behind Shortened URL's
Shortening a URL is easy and we most of times use site such as TinyURL, bit.ly, is.gd, and more to shorten our bulky links.
TinyURL has a similar option. But instead of adding a plus sign at the end of a link, you prepend the word preview.
Example
http://tinyurl.com/367pwvr
Now Add preview before the tinyurl as
http://preview.tinyurl.com/367pwvr
This will show you the actual URL behind the tiny URL.
If you're checking lots of links, it can be clunky to manually copy, paste, and edit URLs. Several sites offer automated scripts to make things a bit easier. For example, when you encounter a suspicious short URL, you can click to Longurl, ExpandMyURL.com, orLong URL Please.com.
Paste the suspect short URL into these sites' dialog boxes, and they'll show you the full, expanded link.
But When we see such URL's we cannot predict by seeing them where these URL's will land us or may be used to hide identity of malicious sites.

You cannot say where this will take you by simple looking at it.But To see where it will land you at just add a + sign at the end of the url and paste it address bar and you will see all the information.This URL simple take to my own blog.

NEW way to get your mini energy buff
This is for those who don't want the toolbar yet want the mini buff.
The toolbar sent out 2 urls, one to inform Zynga that user is indeed using the toolbar and the second is just the toolbar's way of starting up Mafia Wars
INSTRUCTIONS :
1. Make sure you're logged into Facebook first.
2. This is the first link. Click it -
Guessing this is Zynga's way of informing that the user has indeed started up mafia wars since previously logged off users kept getting hit listed even when logged off after installing the toolbar.
If you should get something like this -
Click on the link to log in and allow permissions to whatever popup comes up.
If you get ANY other page, don't worry it means you've already granted permissions to whatever is needed to access the buff.
3. Click this link. It basically starts up MW and gives you the buff -
4. Once you've done this, make sure you click this link too -
This is the toolbar's way of informing Zynga that the user has logged off and cannot be hit listed/attacked over and over again.

Call for help every 24 hours(3NY,2MOSCOW,2CUBA)
Every 24 hours, you can:
Do ONE normal NY call for help job (Shake Down a City Council Member gives the best XP)
Do TWO bonus NY calls for help - usually Travel to the Old Country job
Do ONE normal Cuba call for help job (Havana Reconstruction in El Cacique gives the best xp)
Do ONE bonus Cuba call for help job
Do a normal Moscow job TWICE (Gun Down Some Russian Muscle gives the best XP).
Here is how you can call for help in New York twice in 24 hours instead of the normal once in 24 hours and call for help in Moscow at the same time. For this to work, you must have all of the New York Boss level open and any Moscow Episode started. Of course having episode 6 open will give you the best experience points. Also, your previous requests for help for NY and Moscow must of been done 24 hours or longer before starting this.
1 - open up Mafia Wars in 2 tabs (or 2 windows)
2 - in 2nd tab, travel to moscow then click on jobs, then episode 6
3 - go to first tab and travel to New York then click on jobs
4 - do the Shake Down a City Council Member job (or the Settle a Beef... job works too) and post the call for help
5 - after you post the job, go to the second tab, scroll down to Gun Down Some Russian Muscle job and click on the get help button. A window will pop up asking you to post for help on the New York job - Travel to the Old Country. Go ahead and post it.
6 - the screen will switch to New York since that's where you were last (on the first tab) - this is OK.
7 - in the same tab (2nd tab), select travel to Moscow again, go to jobs, episode 6
8 - scroll down and the Gun Down Some Russian Muscle job will still have the get help button. Click on get help and this time it will post a message to get help with Gun Down Some Russian Muscle job. Go ahead and post it.
9 - DO NOT hit home until 10 people have responded. To see how many people have hit the job, click on profile to see the notifications or click on episode 6 and scroll down to see how many have responded.
10 - once 10 people have hit the moscow job, click on home and you should see: (if you did the settle a beef job)
Your Mafia was eager to help on Settle a Beef... Permanently job. You earned $1,650,000 and 86 experience points.
Your Mafia was eager to help on Travel to the Old Country job. You earned $6,666,000 and 110 experience points.
Your Mafia was eager to help on Gun Down Some Russian Muscle job. You earned R$5,183,640 and 137 experience points.

You just got an extra 110 experience points for posting an extra NY call for help.

Job help didn't publish ???
Have you ever submitted a request for Job Help to find out that for whatever reason it didn't publish? This might have been additional experience that you were counting on to get leveled up. Without the request published to your news feed ... you may have to wait for awhile to level up otherwise.
What can be done? Fortunately you can post a link to your job request allowing your friends to complete it that way.
