Zynga is now offering a character class change for 15 reward (Godfather) points.

Goto your Godfather page and select the Class Change:

You will get your choice of character types.

After you change your character type you will be given yet another chance to spam your friends newsfeed with Mafia Wars posts.

Zynga also increased the bonus payout of cash from jobs for Moguls. Changing from Maniac to Mogul increased job payouts by 40% (Checked in NY and Bangkok).

Changing from Maniac to Fearless results in changes to the Energy and Stamina timers.

For those that use a lot of stamina - this change results in 256 additional stamina points per 24 hour period.

Another benefit of changing your character to Fearless, if you get promoted to another players Top Mafia as Wheelman, you get a random chance of doing a job for zero (0) energy.

How will changing your character class affect existing Top Mafia positions?

It also appears Zynga was thinking on their feet for once, apparently if you change your class it won't screw everyone who has you promoted to a class specific TM slot.

Which Character Class should I change my character too?

This depends on how you play Mafia Wars.

If you have an energy rich account and you like to level/advance by doing jobs - then Maniac, with it's reduced energy timer, is the class of choice.

If you are a stamina rich account and like to fight a lot, Fearless, with it's reduced stamina timer is a good choice.

If you are cash strapped, or working towards the big money achievements, then Mogul looks like your best option.

While the Fearless Top Mafia position (e.g., getting promoted to Wheelman in another account) bonus is quite nice (random zero energy jobs); selecting your character class just to get that bonus is not recommended.
