zynga is making more and more improvements to the standard fight system, and this is another much needed improvement IMO. Now you can choose to use power attacks on players who are not iced. If someone is alive you will see a power attack link next to the regular attack link on their profile.
And there is also the option to power attack them as shown in screenshot on the attack screen.I think this is a step in the right direction but still isn't going to put fighting anywhere near as effecient in terms of dumping stamina as robbing is.
But, with the added new fight only HEL this will certainly help make spending your stamina on fighting less painful. And as you can see in the screenshot you do have a chance for loot to drop for each of the 5 attacks.
