Order of Mastery for Maximum Progression

It takes a considerable amount of time to fully master all of the job tiers currently available within Mafia Wars. Which ones should we focus on mastering first?

you don't have to fully master all of the prior job tiers in order to receive the "Mastery Loot" for that particular job tier (for example, you don't have to master Capo in order to receive the Golden Throne if you want to master Boss first).

Job Mastery Explained :--
To fully master a job tier, you must complete three levels of progression. By completing the first level, you will be granted a "Title" for that particular job tier (Street Thug, Enforcer, Underboss, etc). Upon completing the 2nd level of progression, you will be "skilled" at that job tier (however, in order to be granted the skilled title, you must be skilled at the lower job tiers). The final level of progression is master. Upon mastering a particular job tier, you will receive special mastery loot.

List of "mastery loot":-

• Street Thug tier(level1-4)- Pistol Bayonet: +4% damage dealt in fights


• Associate Tier (level5-8)- Bugatti: -7% damage received in fights


• Soldier Tier (level 9-12)-Golden Skull: a 30 second reduction on your health regen timer


• Enforcer (level 13-17)- Money Plate: a 5% discount on property purchases


• Hitman Tier (level 18-24)- Chainsaw Bayonet: a 30 second reduction on your stamina regen timer


• Capo Tier (level 25 -34)-State Senator: a 5% discount on property repairs


• Consigliere Tier (level 35- 59)- Helicopter: a 30 second reduction on your energy regen timer


• Underboss Tier (level 60-99)- Private Island: a 5% bonus on job experience


• Boss Tier (level 100+)-Golden Throne: 2x the energy regenerated per regen period

Recommendations:

• First: Obtain mastery for Street Thug (complete all 3 levels). These jobs require little energy and will reward additional profile points for completion. The Pistol Bayonet doesn't actually increase progression rate, but since we all must start on Street Thug jobs, makes sense to go ahead and complete these. By the time that you get Street Thug mastery, you will be very close to start on our next recommended level, Hitman.


• Second: Begin working on the Hitman jobs. The energy/experience ratio is substantially higher on these levels. You probably will not be able to master this tier prior to reaching level 35. Upon reaching level 35 start working on the Consigliere jobs!!


• Third: Begin working on Consigliere jobs as soon as you reach level 35. This is the most important tier for you to master ASAP. The helicopter (30 second reduction on energy regen timer) will greatly increase your ability to level faster. Use the majority of your energy on these jobs until you receive the helicopter.


• Fourth: Begin working on Boss jobs. If you've already mastered Consigliere and you aren't quite level 100 yet, go back and finish Hitman jobs. If you still aren't level 100 and you've mastered the 3 tiers that we have recommended, use your energy working on jobs that drop required items for completion of the Boss level jobs (its quite a long list). The Golden Throne will GREATLY increase your ability to level!!


• Fifth: Begin working on Underboss jobs. The Private Island is the 4th of the four mastery loot items that will directly relate to increased progression. After completing mastery of this tier, you can go back and master the other previously unmastered job tiers with a much quicker pace.
